Metropole Products Recognized by NASA

Stafford, VA – September 30, 2013 –  NASA presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Metropole Products in recognition of Metropole’s significant contribution to the IRIS mission, including the timely reconfiguration of the diplexer allowing the program to maintain its launch schedule. Metropole is proud to support NASA as well as many private companies in their space exploration efforts. Metropole components provide mission critical communications capabilities for a variety of satellites to connect with operators on the ground, enabling them to send and receive clear signals. IRIS is a NASA Small Explorer Mission to observe how solar material moves, gathers energy and heats up as it travels through a little-understood region in the sun’s lower atmosphere.
